This Research Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made the 31st day of October 2019 between the International Food Policy Research Institute (“IFPRI”), 1201 Eye St, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20005 and Centre for Green Economy Development, Nepal (CGED-Nepal) (“Collaborator”), IDS-Nepal Building, Baluwatar-03, (In front of Tudaldevi Temple, Tudal Devi Marg), Nepal.

I. Program of Work
IFPRI hereby retains Collaborator to perform, and Collaborator hereby agrees to perform the program of work set forth in the Terms of Reference attached as Exhibit 1 (the “Project”). It is hereby agreed that the Principal Investigator for Collaborator shall be Dr Madhav B Karki for the term of the Project. Collaborator must obtain prior written approval from IFPRI before using a different Principal Investigator. It is hereby agreed that the Project Manager for IFPRI shall be Dr Avinash Kishore, or such other person as IFPRI may designate from time to time by giving written notice to Collaborator.

II. Term
This Agreement will begin on November 15th, 2019 and continue until June 30th, 2020. It is understood that these dates are estimates and that IFPRI may, at its convenience and upon written notice to the Collaborator, postpone, shorten or extend these dates.
Budget: The total budget of the Project is 16,200 USD and duration is November 2019 to October, 2020.
